Our strategy for electing pro-choice legislators is simple and effective: build strong state political organizations dedicated specifically to reproductive rights. We support these groups to elect pro-choice state leaders – starting in states where abortion has already been banned or severely restricted.

The right to choose is under attack.
Well-organized, well-financed anti-choice groups have spent decades attacking reproductive freedom. But we CAN reverse this backward slide in our rights by winning elections.
In 2024, abortion had already been banned or severely restricted in 16 states.*
Roughly 23 million women have lost the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions.*
Nearly 80% of Americans believe decisions about abortion should not be regulated by the government.*
1 in 3 women of reproductive age in the US live in states hostile to abortion.*
Pro-choice candidates have already been elected in 3 states in which abortion is banned.
Candidates backed by Project 50 and our state partners outperformed other pro-choice candidates by 6%.
Candidates in those 3 states received significantly more support due to our voter contact program.
